The 1st of 7 films under the title Duelo Por Un Tiempo Que Una Vez Fue by dancer/choreographer Piedad Albarracin Seiquer. Supported by Reactivo cultural línea (Puertas de Castilla), and exhibited at Cuartel de Artillería (Murcia, Spain) throughout December ’20.

‘A video journey through the seven stages of grief for a time that once was. The expansion of time in a confined space, devoid of physical connection, allows us to reflect on the stage that has passed. The only glimmer of light from the idea of ​​life that was or was-to-be is now seen through internet cables and monitors. The abyss of the unknown and of when we will be able to embrace again.

This work reflects the protagonist’s descent through the seven stages of grief, in collaboration with different artists and their mediums. These thoughts and feelings are explored through movement in this confined space we inhabit.’
