An on-stage live radio show:
A platform to set loose various thoughts about
the human soul, nature, and how we deal with loss.
A little, unrefined, deep-down-to-earth gig,
intended for all those imperfect spirits.
Feel free to close your eyes, your ears, experience…
Offer a touch of support to the person next to you…
Talk to any of us, interrupt…
Ask for a hug, come closer, dream…
It’s ok, it really is!
Come and sit around the fire.
Get immersed in ancient mythology,
modern poetry and children’s books,
alongside music made by your next-door neighbour
and songs from all over the world.

Greg Emfietzis is a London-based sound artist / composer, performer, producer and educator. He is making music that tends to be structured around narratives; it has been described as sound scenography or sonic theatre as it often combines acoustical and visual elements. Some of his compositions are written as much for actors as musicians; others tend towards a more instrumental theatre. He has also initiated and produced larger scale collaborative projects that extend beyond music and over other art forms (dance, theatre, video, creative writing, design) such as the music & theatre performance 'Sisyphus Distressing'. Gregory co-found and direct the Metapraxis Ensemble (alongside Myrto Loulaki), setting up platforms for older and new music to coexist under the umbrella of interdisciplinary events and educational projects. Beyond presenting his own work, he has been curating and producing projects that feature the work of living composers/sound artists and also writers, visual artists and designers.
emfietzis.comWai-Nok Angela Hui is a percussionist and multidisciplinary artist based in London and Hong Kong. She has collaborated with lots of new music and contemporary classical ensembles in London. Angela loves being in the creative process and experimenting with different art forms. This predilection makes her more determined to continue forging her own narrative platform in order to support her wild imagination. She is always in search of different media, in which she can represent herself more fully. She has started to create her own work, which often engages with political references, identity-related issues all of which are placed directly within the strange and beautiful sound world that surrounds us all. Angela performs as a chamber musician and soloist. Composing and sound-designing is her new hobby. She is currently touring her solo recital/ exhibition in Hong Kong and London with pieces which Angela commissioned from composers whom she works closely with. This project is kindly supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and the UK Arts Council.
angelahuiwainok.comMyrto Loulaki is a London-based singer, multi-instrumentalist, writer and teacher. She has sung and played as a soloist in several concerts in England, Greece and Hungary, and have won prizes in competitions. Among her major experiences are the roles of: Dido at Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas (with the Roehampton Chamber Singers at Hampton Court), and Amahl’s mother at Menotti’s Amahl (at Barnes Methodist Church). She has also made numerous performances of classical and modern works as member of the BBC Symphony Chorus, and solo performances with the Metapraxis Ensemble, which she also co-found. As a writer, she has created librettos for operas (including 'The Darkness of Mistico' produced by the Greek National Opera), and stories for children and adults that were used in theatre and other multidisciplinary events (such as the ACE funded and LSO supported shadow theatre project 'Music Impossible').
